Carniolan Sausage (Kranjska klobasa)

While not specific to Bled, the Carniolan sausage is a Slovenian culinary specialty that can be found throughout the country. It is a delicious smoked sausage made from pork, flavored with garlic and other spices. It is usually served with sauerkraut or mustard. There are also two other sausages typical for the region called Pečenica and Krvavica. We recommend to others the sausages in Gostilna Pri Planincu. They also serve other traditional dishes over there.
