Bled Island
Bled Island is a picturesque and iconic tourist destination located in the middle of Lake Bled. The focal point of Bled Island is the Church of the Mother of God, a charming 17th-century Baroque church adorned with remarkable frescoes and a striking bell tower.

One of the island's most cherished traditions is the "wishing bell" located in the church tower. Legend has it that if you make a wish and ring the bell three times, your wish will be granted. This belief has turned the bell into a symbol of hope and dreams, attracting visitors from around the world to partake in this charming ritual.
