Rowing & Kayaking

Lake Bled is a well-known rowing destination, regularly hosting international competitions. Both Bled and Bohinj have rental stations for kayaks and rowing boats, allowing visitors to explore the lakes independently.

Stand-Up Paddleboarding (SUP)

SUP is available on both lakes, providing a stable and easy way to navigate the water. However, paddleboards are not allowed to dock at Bled Island, so plan your route accordingly.

Swimming

Swimming is permitted in both lakes. Lake Bled tends to be warmer but more crowded, especially during summer. Designated swimming areas are available, including Grajska Beach, which offers amenities like changing rooms and a slide. Lake Bohinj is colder but less crowded, offering a more natural setting.

Canyoning
