Is tap water safe to drink?
Yes, tap water is completely safe to drink and comes from the clean alpine Radovna River. It meets high EU standards and is regularly tested for safety and quality. You’ll also find around 19 public drinking fountains in and around Bled where you can refill bottles for free.
How to get to lake Bled?
You have multiple options:
- either by car and park in Bled (official parking info),
- by foot through the forrest road (more info here) which takes approx. 40 minutes or
- by bus from bus station next to the store (bus schedule).
Where to park in Bohinj?

Where to buy groceries on Sundays or national holidays?
Most shops are closed on Sundays and national holidays. However, you can still find basic groceries at the Petrol gas station or the "Hitri kruhek" bakery in Bled.
